Steam-what?
If you haven't already discovered the joys of Steampunk literature, here is a quick primer: Steampunk novels often involve an alternate history where steam-driven or clockwork devices are part of the norm and in some cases run things. The novels are often peppered with magic or pseudo-science fiction. A few titles you might like to start with could be Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan, Kate Milford's The Boneshaker or Cassandra Clare Clockwork Angel.

The new Harry Potter film.
Part 1 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiered last week in the movies. Comparisons between the film and the book abound. What are your thoughts? We'd like to know differences you've noticed or things you would have liked to see added. Here's your chance to ring in! Just leave a comment.

You...U?
You by Charles Benoit, is a strange and interesting story in prose that uses second-person point of view to put YOU, the reader, in the place of the protagonist. The plot twists this way and that with an ending you may find shattering.

Manga: Shonen Vs. Shojo
Ok, there's many ways to differentiate titles among Manga series, but typically they fall under one of two categories: Shonen or Shojo. Shonen, such as Bleach, typically deals with action and camaraderie, while Shojo, such as Fruits Basket, usually involves romantic interests and social situations. Each might contain magic and monsters, or aliens and robots!

Manga has a full and varied list of titles;
